Popular Kent based steel band who will be bringing the sounds of the Caribbean to the centre of Maidstone

12.30 Tibetan Monks
Recreating the mysteries of the Buddhist Monastery, eight Tibetan monks from Tashi Lhunpo offer a dramatic presentation of sacred dance, music and chanted prayer with
traditional costumes and ceremonial masks.

1pm (Piwnica pod Aniolami) (Cellar under the Angels)
Piwnica pod Aniolam (Angels under the Cellar) is a tribute to Piwnica pod Baranami (Rams under the Cellar). A Polish Literary cabaret established by Piotr Skrznecki in Krakow, Poland in 1956. This music project was started by Marysia Nowinska, with friends from the Polish community church in Tottenham, London.

 

1.45 Bollywood Blast
Local Maidstone based Bollywood dance troupe.

 

2.05 Maidstone Nepalese Community Group and Naumati Baaja UK
Local young people performing a colourful traditional folk dance from Nepal alongside one of the leading Nepalese folk groups in the UK

Exciting RNB artist who has won much acclaim opening for Boys II Men at the O2 as well as supporting Chipmunk and Misha B. Performing with a full live band and dancers his original songs including “Alien” and “One and Only”

Winners from this year’s exciting talent show will be showcasing their talents.

 

4pm Cohesion Plus “Dhol Tamasha”
Kent based Cohesion Plus has produced “Dhol Tamasha” performance with Cultural Beats which will feature Four by Four Bhangra. The performance will fuse traditional bhangra music and dance with contemporary pop and hip hop.
