Mela Advisory Group
The Mela Advisory Group has been established since the inception of the Mela in 2003. The group is made up of officers from Maidstone Borough Council and representatives from local community organisations.

The Mela school's programme is now in its 6th year and is delivered by Cohesion Plus in partnership with Arts Council England and Kent County Council. Over the past 6 years the programme has evolved greatly and this year will be the biggest to date.
